Eligibility for Admission

Eligibility for Merit Scholarship

BBA 4-Year	12 years education (HSC, GCE A-Level or an equivalent examination) with at least 45% marks	At least 70% marks in SSC/O-Level and HSC/A-Level
MBA 2-Year	14 years education (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, BA or an equivalent examination) with at least 45% marks	At least 60% marks throughout SSC/O-Level, HSC/A-Level and B.Com/BBA/B.Sc/BA.

Selection Criteria

The college carefully selects a limited number of meritorious candidates and develops them even more carefully. Selection criteria put balanced emphasis on the ability, motivation and potential of candidates to meet requirements of the rigorous professional degree programs. Admissions are subject to candidates’ marks in prerequisite examination, score in admission test and performance in selection interview.

Application Procedure

Prospectus and admission application form can be downloaded free of charge from our website (DACB.EDU.PK) or obtained on payment of Rs.100 from our Admission Office (Defence Authority College of Business, 3rd Street, Khayaban-e-Sehar, Phase-VI, DHA, Karachi-75500).

Result-Awaiting Candidates

Candidates whose result has not been announced by the application deadline can also apply. If selected, they may be offered provisional admission. Admissions of such candidates will be liable to cancellation, if they fail in the prerequisite exam or do not meet the prescribed requirements by the deadline.

Application Deadlines

Admission application forms are accepted by our Admission Office as per the following deadlines:

Admission Test

Sample test and admit card can be obtained from our Admission Office on submission of completed admission application form. The test is taken on the date and time assigned.

Selection Interview

The candidates qualifying admission test are called to appear in a selection interview on the date and time communicated by our Admission Office.

Admission Offer

Successful candidates are offered admission to the respective degree program. Admission offer however remains valid by the date specified in the Acceptance Letter.

Enrolment

The students admitted to BBA & MBA are required to complete necessary documentation and prescribed requirements, within six weeks from their admission, for enrolment with University of Karachi.
